We can organize for you a custom tour or you can pick from one of our theme-based itineraries, all ready to go as packages. What we do for individuals, we can do for groups tours, including step-on guide service. We can help you with your wedding arrangements or honeymoon.

 

Whether you are looking forward to a first visit or to a return trip, the secret to a great vacation here is in finding the special places and experiences that will be most meaningful to you.


That is where our experience comes in. We live here. We love every corner of the Hudson Valley and venture out to discover pleasures that are off the beaten path in hopes of sharing the most extraordinary ones with you. We do extensive research – checking out hotels, inns, and bed & breakfasts, trying restaurants and cafés, hiking, visiting historical sites and museums – going the extra mile to find the ideal Hudson Valley experience for you.

 

Some people just do not have time to do as much research as they would like before they travel. Others want our recommendations on the basics, such as lodging and restaurants. Before we start planning, we will determine how we can best help you plan the perfect trip for yourself and/or your group.


We will prepare your itinerary and any special background information or maps you may require and email it all to you to take along on your trip. We are happy to review your plan with you before your visit to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy a truly rewarding, independent journey. Once in the Hudson Valley, you will have access to us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, if you have any concerns.


All of our recommendations on where to eat and stay reflect our own candid assessments and in some cases the advice of local chefs or other experts we know and trust. We do not accept commissions from any of our recommendations.

ECO-TOURISM We promote eco-tourism and we hope you will be inspired to immerse yourself in the local culture of the Hudson Valley, with its rich history, diversity of crafts and artists of all trades, and its astounding natural environment with a very unique flora and fauna. We also hope you will enjoy eating at our restaurants that embrace the local food movement, visit our abundant farm markets, taste our local wines, and come fall, do some apple and pumpkin picking.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS We can tailor your trip to meet any special needs, whether it involves traveling with your pet or wanting to make sure that where you go is handicapped-accessible. If it is a family vacation, we will recommend child-friendly accommodations and interesting activities.


INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS We strongly suggest purchasing medical and travel insurances which can be arranged from your country of origin. A disclaimer must be signed if you choose not to purchase either of these insurances. We can also arrange to rent a cell phone for your visit in the United States.
